Return & Refund Policy

These terms explain how cancellations, returns, and product complaints are handled by Strata Form. Nothing in this policy limits rights that consumers have under mandatory Finnish, EU, or other applicable consumer protection laws.

1. Your Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Consumers buying online generally have the right to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods. If goods in the same order are delivered separately, the period normally begins when the last item is received. You may also withdraw before the goods are delivered.

To withdraw, send us an unambiguous notice within the withdrawal period by emailing contact@strataform.co. Include your name, order number or other information identifying the contract, and the goods you wish to withdraw from. You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of this policy, but it is not mandatory. Any electronic withdrawal function made available through our store or customer account can also be used. We will acknowledge receipt of a withdrawal notice as required by applicable law.

Return the goods without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days after notifying us of withdrawal. Ask us for the return address and return instructions before sending the parcel. Merely failing to collect a parcel or sending it back without communicating a clear intention to withdraw does not itself constitute a withdrawal notice.

2. Product Condition and Exceptions

You may inspect a product to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, as you reasonably could in a physical store. Opening packaging or a film roll does not automatically cancel the statutory right of withdrawal. Please handle films carefully and retain the original packaging where practical.

You may be responsible for any reduction in the product's value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for such inspection. Cutting, installing, damaging, or extensively unrolling a film may significantly reduce its value, depending on the circumstances. This can affect the refund amount where permitted by law, but does not automatically remove the right to notify us of withdrawal.

Exceptions to withdrawal apply only where allowed by law. One example is a product genuinely made to a consumer's individual specifications or clearly personalized. An item is not automatically excluded merely because it is purchased in a standard selectable roll length, sourced after an order is placed, sold on clearance, or discounted. Any applicable exemption for a specific product should be identified clearly before purchase.

Business-to-business (B2B) purchases may be governed by separate agreed terms. Consumer withdrawal rights do not automatically apply to business purchases.

3. Return Shipping

For a change-of-mind withdrawal, the consumer generally pays the direct costs of returning goods where this obligation has been disclosed before purchase. If the goods cannot normally be returned by post because of their size or nature, the cost of return must also be disclosed before purchase as required by law. Please contact us for the appropriate return address and instructions.

If a product is faulty or incorrectly supplied and Strata Form is legally responsible, the consumer must not bear the costs of the statutory remedy. We recommend a tracked and appropriately insured return service. Please retain the shipping receipt.

4. Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Goods

Please inspect your order when it arrives. To help us investigate visible shipping damage quickly, we recommend that you contact contact@strataform.co within 48 hours, provide photos of the product and packaging, and retain the original packaging where practicable. This is a recommendation, not a legal complaint deadline, and does not limit your statutory rights.

If you discover a defect, please tell us within a reasonable time. Under Finnish consumer law, a complaint about a defect can always be made within at least two months after the defect is discovered, and the appropriate period can be longer depending on the circumstances.

We assess complaints and provide the remedy required by law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, a price reduction, cancellation of the purchase, or a refund. Your rights in respect of faulty or non-conforming goods are separate from the change-of-mind withdrawal right.

5. Refunds

When a consumer lawfully withdraws, we will refund payments received, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method we offered, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. As permitted by law, we may withhold payment until we have received the goods back or have received evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless you expressly agree to another method, without additional refund fees. We do not have to refund any additional cost arising from a more expensive delivery option you selected instead of our least expensive standard option. Any lawful deduction for a reduction in value will be explained.

For defective or incorrectly supplied goods, refunds, return costs, and other remedies are handled in accordance with the applicable statutory rights.

6. Installation and Use

Professional installation is recommended for automotive vinyl wraps and TPU paint protection films. Check the suitability of the paint surface, installation conditions, and the chosen film's instructions; where appropriate, test a small area before full installation.

Damage caused solely by unsuitable preparation, improper installation, or other circumstances unrelated to a defect in the goods may not be covered by our product defect liability. Nothing in this section excludes our responsibility for defective or non-conforming goods or limits mandatory consumer rights.

7. Business Customers

B2B purchases made under trade pricing are subject to any separate terms agreed for that purchase, without affecting any rights that are legally mandatory in the relevant circumstances.
